F. Trogdon at Germanton July 4th, and whose capture was reported yester* day, was arrested while at work in the Orinoco Warehouse, Winston, by Capt. J. C. Bessint, on Tuesday last, —Mess. J. iV. Scott & Co., shoot 'Off their ne^ column ad to-day, in which they show a large stock in an extensive! variety. Andrews, of South Carolina, the noted pedestrian, who claims to be 97 years of age, and has the reputation at home of being a truthful man. He hails from Sump ter, S. C., am is passing back to his home from walking tour to the north. He vas here last year, and since then hs walked to Boston and back. Committed TO Jail.—Mess. West and Trogdon went to Germantan yes terday to attend the preliminary trial of the man Hairston who assaulted Mr. Trogdon on the Fourth of July. The accused was lully identified, and in default of bail in the sum of $1,000 was committed to prison.
